We live on site in the Château, and are on hand to help with travel tips, sightseeing and restaurant suggestions, check-ins, or any other assistance you may require.

Arrival and Departure

The property will be available from 4:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival until 10:00 a.m. on the day of your departure. We’ll be there to welcome you when you arrive and to wish you bon voyage when you leave.

Young Children & Infants

We have two travel cots with mattress, two highchairs, a selection of children’s cutlery, plates and bowls, as well as a small selection of books and indoor and outdoor games. Please let us know your needs prior to arrival.

Guests with Reduced Mobility

Guests with reduced mobility can be comfortably accommodated in the ground floor bedroom. There are no steps and the bathroom and all external areas can be accessed with the use of a wheelchair or walker. We can also offer a shower chair and fixed frame walker. Please let us know your needs prior to arrival.

Pets

We are happy to welcome well-behaved pets. Please let us know in advance so we can prepare for their stay. We provide pet bedding, water and feeding bowls. There is a €100 pet fee per visit, and we kindly ask that you clean up after them and dispose of any waste appropriately.

Parking

Private secure outdoor parking is available for up to five cars.

We do not have an EV charging station but there is one about 10 minutes away in Champdeniers.

Swimming Pool

The 8mx 5m saltwater pool is heated from April to October and features in-pool seating with hydro-massage jets. There is an outdoor heated shower. Sun loungers and pool towels are provided.

For your safety, the pool area is gated and the pool is equipped with an infrared pool alarm.

Hot Tub

The open-air hot tub allows guests to truly relax while surrounded by nature. Heated throughout the year, the hot tub is the perfect place to recharge and rejuvenate. The hot tub can accommodate up to six people and offers intense hydro-massage facilities.

High-speed Internet

Free high-speed internet is available throughout courtesy Starlink. No password is required for the Wi-Fi. 

Equipment

The Pavillon de Chasse is equipped with 2 Bluetooth speakers, vacuum cleaner, steam iron and ironing board, clothes horse, commercial grade ice-maker (up to 50 kilos per day), hair dryers in all bathrooms, espresso machine, drip coffee machine, electric milk frother (also able to heat infant milk), electric juicer, multifunction food processor, and blender.

Bed Linen, Towels, Bathrobes, and Slippers

All the beds are dressed in high-quality 100% Egyptian percale cotton bedding (500 thread count), including fitted sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers, complemented by all-season, anti-allergy duvets. Each bedroom also offers extra pillows and blankets for added comfort, along with 100% cotton pillow and mattress protectors.

All guest rooms have soft, high quality bath towels and complementary bathrobes and slippers to enhance your comfort. Pool towels are also provided.

Toiletries

We offer complimentary toiletries from The White Company’s Flowers line in all the bathrooms including shampoo, conditioner, bath and shower gel, hand wash, and hand and body lotion.

Air Conditioning

Individually-controlled air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms, as well as the dining room and salon.

Heating

During the cooler months, the property features radiant underfloor heating on the ground floor, radiators on the upper floor, and heated towel rails in all bathrooms.

A log-burning stove in the salon provides added ambiance and warmth in the cooler months. Kindling and chopped firewood are provided free of charge.

Cleaning Products

We provide laundry detergent, fabric softener, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, toilet paper, and other cleaning products for your convenience.

End-of-stay Clean

We handle the end-of-stay cleaning. We kindly ask that you return all games, books, toys, and equipment to their original places. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Bakery Delivery

We can arrange for a delightful selection of fresh baguettes, breads, pastries, brioches, and pain au chocolats from our local boulangerie and patisserie to be delivered to Pavillon de Chasse.  A true taste of France, the delicacies of our local boulangerie are not to be missed.

Private Chef

Our private chef can prepare delicious meals while you relax and enjoy the pool or time with family and friends. From simple local dishes to more formal menus, everything is taken care of – from sourcing the produce, laying the table, preparing and serving the food, and even cleaning up afterwards.

Food on Arrival

We work with several exceptional local traiteurs who offer guests delicious prepared meals delivered directly to you. Their menus feature classic French dishes made with locally sourced ingredients—from traditional quiches and savory pastries to more adventurous options. Whether you need meals ready for your arrival day or simply want to relax by the pool and take a break from cooking, our traiteurs provide a variety of menus to suit any taste and occasion.

Private Massage Therapist

Our private, qualified, massage therapist offers therapeutic, healing and wellness massages to individuals and couples. Relax under the trees, in your room, or on the patio, and experience a wide range of therapies, including foot reflexology, hot stone massage, candle massage, Balinese style massage, Swedish massage, among others. You can choose from a menu of specialist massage styles, as well as beauty therapies like the Kobido Jellymask.

The Estate Grounds

The château estate comprises 63 acres (25 hectares) of pastures, woods, ponds, and walking trails. You are welcome to enjoy the entire estate.

There are five walking and jogging trails on the château grounds. The grand trail circumnavigates the entire estate, about 2 kilometres. It is a pleasant and relaxing walk with picnic tables and resting benches provided throughout.

For those seeking to connect with nature, we recommended the more secluded trails and time spent sitting on the benches and listening to the bird song or spotting deer.

The Château Chapel

The chapel is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for private prayer, reflection, and meditation. Guests are warmly invited to visit the chapel via the public entrance, located at the front of the château on the far right-hand side.

We are a non-smoking venue. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all areas. We appreciate your cooperation.
