PAVILLON DE CHASSE
The Pavillon de Chasse is a 19th century huntsman’s and estate workers’ lodge with exposed beams, a huge stone fireplace, vaulted 6-metre high ceilings, and stone walls. Set in 63 acres of grounds overlooking the Château du Petit Brusson, the Pavillon de Chasse has been completely renovated whilst retaining all its historical charm. The Pavillon de Chasse offers guests an elegant experience yet with all modern facilities and set in the grounds of an enchanting country estate.

THE POOL
The private outdoor saltwater pool (5 x 8 metres) is surrounded by 9-metre-high stone walls and cobbled stone paving. Located within the original footprint of the Pavillon de Chasse, the pool is a few steps from the kitchen and summer kitchen and offers a sun-drenched area for relaxation (133m²) in the summer months.
The pool is heated from April to October and provides in-pool seating with hydro massage facilities.
At night, majestic lighting makes this one of the most romantic areas in the Pavillon de Chasse.
Sunbeds and seating are provided, along with an outdoor pool shower.
THE SUMMER KITCHEN
Set beside the pool and terrace is the 30 m² summer kitchen.
With rustic granite worktops, soaring 9‑metre stone walls and a large stone sink once used as a cattle trough, it offers authentic character with modern convenience.
Soft, ambient lighting creates a welcoming atmosphere where family and friends can gather to grill on the full‑size gas barbecue or craft homemade pizzas in the gas‑fired pizza oven (gas provided).
THE PAVILION
Adjacent to the Pavillon de Chasse, the pavilion (75 m²) is a spacious open barn with oak beams and a traditional slate roof.
Inside, a large bar with seating for 8 people and traditional stone sink with running water create a welcoming and practical space to whirl away the hours.
Guests will find the pavilion the perfect spot to spend summer evenings, share a drink with family and friends, and take in the uninterrupted views of the château and surrounding nature. As the sun sets, be on the lookout for wild deer that frequently pass by grazing in the meadows.
THE PATIO
Adjacent to the pavilion is the patio (500m²).
Covered in natural stone and surrounded by stone pillars, the patio is situated next to beautiful trees, parkland and views of the Château and Pavillon de Chasse.
The patio offers the perfect place to sunbathe, play games, or simply sit, relax and soak in the ambience of nature. Sun loungers, casual seating and a ping pong table are provided for guests.
For large events, celebrations or weddings, a marquee able to seat 80 people can be erected over the patio. Alternatively, the guests often choose to turn the patio into the dance area and have the marquee situated on the château lawn.
The patio comes complete with service connections (electricity, water, stone sink) for lighting, entertainment, and catering purposes.
THE HOT TUB
Located on the patio next to the Pavilion and the Gallery and Conservatory, the open-air hot tub allows guests to truly relax while surrounded by nature. Heated throughout the year, the hot tub is the perfect place to recharge and rejuvenate.
The hot tub can accommodate up to 6 people and offers intense hydro-massage facilities.
THE GALLERY AND CONSERVATORY
The rustic charm of the 45m² Gallery and Conservatory betrays its heritage as the estate’s greenhouse. Today it has been transformed into an elegant space featuring a log-burning fireplace for the cooler months, games table, lounge seating, and large worktop. Adorned with original black & white photography and various pieces collected by the owners from their years living abroad, the Gallery and Conservatory is a place for quiet relaxation.
In the summer months guests can use the space for yoga (mats provided), morning coffee or an evening drink, while the younger ones can use it as a children’s retreat. In the winter months guests can use the space to warm up in front of the log fire after a dip in the outdoor hot tub or brisk walk in the woods, or a place for crafts and games in the event of inclement weather.
The Gallery and Conservatory is equipped with a sink, commercial grade dishwasher, bar refrigerator, ice maker, washing machine, and catering facilities for large events hosted at the Château and Pavillon de Chasse.
THE TERRACE
The terrace is the epitome of outdoor dining and relaxation. Located next to the summer kitchen, kitchen, salon and dining room, it offers 76m² of space and features original cobblestone floors. The terrace is the place to dine, relax, or enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the stunning views of the château, fountain and estate grounds.
The 10-seater French oak dining table will easily accommodate the entire family, while the discrete lighting creates the perfect ambience on summer evenings.
For those preferring to kick back and watch the sunset, guests can also enjoy lazing on the outdoor rattan sofa lounge.
THE KITCHEN
At the heart of the Pavillon de Chasse is the kitchen (22m²). The kitchen is connected to the pool, terrace, salon and staircase leading to the upper floor, and enjoys unobstructed views of the château.
A country kitchen table flanked by large granite worktops makes the kitchen both elegant and practical and provides the perfect place for family and friends to gather.
Chefs will enjoy the full-sized Falcon Range oven with 6 burner gas cook top, drinks refrigerator, American size fridge-freezer with icemaker, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, blender, multifunction food processor, dripolator coffee maker, espresso machine, milk frother, crockery, cutlery, and a comprehensive range of cooking utensils. Everything you need for cooking up a delicious meal is provided.
Behind the staircase is the rear kitchen and laundry room (11m²) where a combination washer-dryer, laundry sink, drying racks, ironing board and iron, vacuum cleaner, and toilet is located.
THE SALON
The Salon (39m²) connects the vestibule, garden bedroom, kitchen, and dining room. With its stone floors, impressive stone fireplace with a log-burning stove (firewood provided), and plush leather chesterfield sofas and wing chairs, it offers a wonderfully inviting space to unwind.
An antique chandelier, generous coffee table, dimmable lighting, air conditioning, and underfloor heating all contribute to the salon’s warmth and ambiance. The flat-screen smart TV includes Netflix, YouTube, and English, French, and Dutch channels. A small bookcase stocked with books and games is also provided, along with a CD player, Bluetooth speaker, and radio.
THE DINING ROOM
The 26m² dining room can seat 12 guests around its 3-meter-long French oak dining table. The dining room is blessed with beautiful views of the terrace through large double glass doors, which on summer evenings allow cooling breezes to flow in.
Guests will enjoy dining surrounded by stone walls and a stunning framed wall-paper mural. The dining room is a truly wonderful place to share meals with family and friends.
THE STUDY
Located on the first floor, the study (12m²) offers a quiet retreat for work or reflection.
Cathedral ceilings, soft wall lighting, and picturesque views over the chateau and fishpond create a calm and inspiring atmosphere, ideal for catching up on emails or attending to business.
The study is furnished with an antique desk and chair and is fully equipped with pens, writing paper, a large flat-screen monitor, and a Wi-Fi–enabled monochrome printer. Printer use is complimentary.
THE BEDROOMS
Pavillon de Chasse has four bedrooms. Three are located on the first floor and one on the ground floor. The ground floor bedroom is wheelchair accessible. The bedrooms on the first floor are accessed via the staircase from the kitchen. Each bedroom features cathedral ceilings with exposed wooden beams and stone walls, creating a sense of space, warmth, and character.
All bedrooms come with:

BEDROOM 1 (37m²) has 5-metre high cathedral ceilings with exposed beams, characterful stone walls, stone flooring with underfloor heating in the winter months, and a large glass double window-door opening onto a private terrace and breakfast area.
Accessed from the salon via a private vestibule, the entrance is framed by impressive 3-metre-high solid French oak doors. This vestibule offers enhanced privacy from the salon and leads to the private ensuite, which features a walk-in shower, designer vanity unit, heated towel rail, and toilet.
Bedroom 1 comfortably accommodates up to two guests in a king-size bed (180 × 200 cm).
Situated on the ground floor, Bedroom 1 can accommodate guests with reduced mobility.
BEDROOM 2 (31m²) enjoys unobstructed views of the pool and chateau and features a luxurious ensuite with a double walk-in shower and a classic claw-foot bathtub.
The room accommodates up to two guests in a king-size bed (180 × 200 cm).
BEDROOM 3 (31m²) comfortably accommodates up to three guests, with one king-size bed (180 × 200 cm) and one single bed (90 × 200 cm).
Elegantly furnished and softly lit, the room offers a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. Skylights in both the bedroom and ensuite enhance the abundance of natural light.
BEDROOM 4 (38m²) is the largest bedroom in Pavillon de Chasse. Entry is via a private vestibule leading to the bedroom and ensuite. Natural light fills the space through a skylight in the bedroom and a distinctive round stone window in the ensuite.
The room accommodates up to four guests in two king-size beds (180 × 200 cm) and enjoys unobstructed views of the château.
